MASTER ANGLER DIVISION - EST. 2010
In 2010, Smitty & Al's Tarpon Bonanza established the Master Angler Division.
This division is for anglers who have demonstrated a level of skill which sets them apart from the rest of the tournament (on the water, that is). A non-Master Class team will gain entry to the Master's Division in one of two ways:
1. Winning the tournament in two or more years.
2. Winning the TCOD award and beating all boats in the Master Division in the same year.
Once an angler has earned Master Division status they no longer can compete for the TCOD. A team that consists of Master Angler and a non-Master Angler must compete in the Master Division
